I arrived by moonlight late one night after a long journey. Not far from Gothenburg, Sweden, I am here to support an MA course in Creative Practice run by Make Happen Institute. Alongside a new group of students, I am exploring anew my inner hurdles to taking action in my life, the limitations I have set for myself and thinking about how I might celebrate my successes too. It is exciting to be amongst people who are grappling with themselves in similar ways and I’m curious to see how this process impacts them.

I feel held by being immersed in the quiet beauty of this place. Lying on a frozen lake in Sweden, the sun on my face, I consider what lies beneath and feel the sheer joy of lying on a lake. Liquid to solid, walking on water. The wonder of such dramatic transformations in nature is a powerful reminder to continue transforming my own life.
